After the meeting‚ two members of the election commission - retired Justice Riaz Kiani from Punjab and retired Justice Shahzad Akbar from Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa confirmed that no decision could be reached.
They said the meeting had been adjourned due to the health problem of chief election commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim and the non-attendance of Roshan Ehsan member from Sindh.
Roshan Essani will return to Islamabad from Karachi tonight and all the four members of the commission with chief election commissioner in the chair will meet today to conclude their deliberations.
The candidates for the slot of care taker Prime Minister include, Justice (Retd) Nasir Aslam Zahid, Justice (Retd) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso, Dr Ishrat Hussain and Rasool Bakhsh Palijo. PTV NEWS WORLD
